Fasting and Poetry For Peace and an End to the Iraq War

Peace Blog
This weblog was started to witness peace in Iraq after a war against which I did not protest sufficiently.
One day per week is a fast day and there will be one poem per week.
If this seems madness, then I am in good company with the rest of you, for we all of us have allowed this to go on too long.
February 20 2009: Well-being as well as Peace.
If we can fast one day, and create some small thing once every week, do you doubt we may have peace, concord,and well-being?

Wish I could remember my Latin.

You need a tutor at a reasonable hourly price....
I was under the impression that Gossamer was into Latin...I got it from some poetry...
I am into Latin now, trying to get a part-time job teaching Latin.
It makes me feel like an educated Greek slave in Rome, of which there were many educating the young folk. Almost the time of Augustus...shortly after the death of Cicero: the times! the customs!
