Far away houses hidden under the trees,
which form gothic vaults of choir, apse, and nave
above them, and which support the snow facade;
wint'ry cathedral !

Fasting and Poetry For Peace and an End to the Iraq War

Peace Blog
This weblog was started to witness peace in Iraq after a war against which I did not protest sufficiently.
One day per week is a fast day and there will be one poem per week.
If this seems madness, then I am in good company with the rest of you, for we all of us have allowed this to go on too long.
February 20 2009: Well-being as well as Peace.
If we can fast one day, and create some small thing once every week, do you doubt we may have peace, concord,and well-being?
